- And pay special attention to the last three boxes. Those allow you to specify your own two character combinations for Macify to replace with a character of your choice. For instance, if you want someone on an IBM to be able to include a bullet in your document, you could tell them to type “\+” everywhere they wanted a “•” (there is no “•” on those silly IBMs!). Then, make sure one of your personal change check boxes says “Change \ + to •” and is checked. Whichever files you Macify with this set of options will change those special characters for you. You could, in this way, make “~P” into “¶” or “\C” into “©” or many other things!
